DSA need your help please.
The Down’s Syndrome Association (DSA) maintains a photo library to promote positive images of people with Down’s Syndrome. This library contains images of people at every stage of life and includes themes such as education, work, leisure and relationships.
These images are used on the DSA website, their publications and in the media generally.
Following the successful 8 year Shifting Perspectives photography project the DSA are now supporting a project with students at Kingston University to document the lives of people with Down’s Syndrome on particular themes.
MA Student Marian Melo has suggested a photo essay on relationships and her portfolio will then appear in DSA Journal, their website and in an exhibition.
This is a very exciting and unique opportunity for people with Down’s Syndrome to get involved.
If you can help or would like to get involved please contact Marian
