Fire Break Course wins World Down Syndrome Award
Each year Down Syndrome International Announces annual awards to coincide with World Down Syndrome day on the 21st March.
This year DSE21 nominated Essex Fire and Rescue for the wonderful Fire break course they have successfully run over the past few years.
It is with great pleasure we can announce that Down Syndrome International have under their Voluntary and Professional Category awarded Essex Fire and Rescue a World Down Syndrome award for the outstanding contribution to strengthening and enriching the lives of people with Down Syndrome.

On the 6th April 2019 DSE21 held an bike riding session at Just Ride Southend. Just Ride are a charity who specialise in inclusive bike riding using a running track to give people with disabilities the opportunity to experience bike riding in a safe and secure environment.Event Video
