Fun at Jungle Adventure
Are you interested in a local get together at a soft play area in Colchester where kids can play and parents can relax?
Stacey has taken time to find a location for such a gethering so if you would like to find out more please read on.
I have had a meeting with the manager at Jungle Adventure about setting up a session for children with special needs and their siblings to come and play for a few hours, to give us parents a bit of time to relax and chat, and for the kids to play at a time when it’s not so busy. She was very understanding and agreed that it is something that is needed in Colchester and there are provisions that can be made to accommodate such a group.
We agreed that the best time to meet would be between 4 and 6.30pm, when the centre is at its quietest, she has left the choosing of a day and regularity of the group totally up to us to decide what’s best. If I can get a list together of families that would like to attend, Jungle Adventure will reserve tables and chairs for us at the front next to the play frames, and make other families coming in, who aren’t part of the group, aware that there are children with special needs playing in the frame and that they need to be considerate at all times.
They will also supply squash for all of the children to drink. As far as dietary requirements go, they are already very accommodating with their menu, but if there are any specific needs, just let me know and the manager is happy to discuss them.
So if you are interested in coming along please contact me on either number at any time to let me know what day would be best and how often you would like the group to meet and then we can get the ball rolling!
Thank You!
