Just Ride Southend
On the 6th April 2019 DSE21 held an bike riding session at Just Ride Southend.
Just Ride are a charity who specialise in inclusive bike riding using a running track to give people with disabilities the opportunity to experience bike riding in a safe and secure environment. Just Ride gladly put on a session just for Members of DSE21 and their families. Despite the weather not being at it did not deter Members and their families who enjoyed the opportunity to sample the various bikes on offer. We may not have found a budding Bradley Wiggins, but it is fantastic to see people enjoying the freedom of cycling.
We will talk to Just Ride about the opportunity to do further sessions in the future, but in the meantime if you are interested in hearing more about the work visit their website.
