More new See and Learn Speech apps now available
Two more See and Learn Speech are now available – for iPads and for Windows 8.1 tablets, laptops and PCs. See and Learn Saying More Words and See and Learn Later words provide activities to learn and practice saying whole words clearly.
Both See and Learn Saying More Words and See and Learn Saying Later Words support simple activities to encourage the imitation and repetition of one-, two- and three-syllable words in sets of words beginning with a common sound.
Together, the three apps progress through 21 sets of words:
- See and Learn Saying Words – words starting with b, d, m, p, y, n, w and h
- See and Learn Saying More Words – words starting with c/k, ch, f, g, r, t and v
- See and Learn Saying Later Words – words starting with sh, th, s, z, l, and j

Just Ride Southend
On the 6th April 2019 DSE21 held an bike riding session at Just Ride Southend. Just Ride are a charity who specialise in inclusive bike riding using a running track to give people with disabilities the opportunity to experience bike riding in a safe and secure environment.
